Summary:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various accounting software.
Job Title:
Accounts Payable Representative WILLING TO TRAIN Location:
Hewlett NY (no remote).
Looking to hire an Accounts Payable Representative for the back office of a network of skilled nursing facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Process all invoices in an efficient and timely manner - Review all invoices to ensure accuracy - Compare pricing to original purchase orders - Record and enter all accounts payable data - Verify and investigate discrepancies and reconcile.
- Communicate with vendor inquiries.
- Process payments.
Requirements:
- Must have data entry skills - Must pay attention to detail and have a high degree of accuracy - Must be very organized and able to multitask - Bill.
com experience a plus - Must be organized and have good communication skills - Understanding of basic bookkeeping and Accounts Payable principles a plus The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
### Duties:
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports - Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness - Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents - Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts - Prepare and process journal entries for accounts payable transactions - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries or issues - Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable ###
